GLENIUM® 7711

GLENIUM 7711 is a high-range plasticizing or superplasticizer based on the latest generation of polycarboxylats. This admixture is part of the 7000 series products.  GLENIUM 7711 is very effective producing concrete of high slumps including Self-Consolidating Concrete It can also be used improve workability in mixtures with very low water-cement ratio.
GLENIUM 7711 can be used with air entraining admixtures, as long as the ASTM, AASHTO and CRD specifications are met. Anyhow, a sample and test mock-up is recommended to insure the compatibility with the materials and conditions to be used.
GLENIUM 7711 meets the requirement of ASTM C494 for water reducing admixtures Type A, and high-range  water-reducing admixtures Type F.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS
GLENIUM 7711 helps produce a quality concrete with the following special benefits:
  • Excellent development of early strength, allowing for quicker stripping of forms thus increased productivity.
  • Construction costs reduction.
  • Increases the slump or workability of a concrete while minimizing its loss.
  • Efficiency of concrete placing is increased.
  • Total costs of the concrete mixes is optimized.
  • Returned concrete due to loss of workability is reduced.
  • GLENIUM 7711 is effective, used as a sole additive or as part of a system of additives of BASF.

APPLICATIONS

GLENIUM 7711 is a high-range water-reducing admixture, based on polycarboxylates, formulated to produce:
  • A water reduction  in a (5 to 40%) range and an excellent performance through a wide slump ranges.
  • Concrete mixtures where high workability retention and setting time are critical requirements.
  • Concrete mixes with improved workability, pumpability and finishing quality, even with low quantities of cementitious materials and/or mixes containing fly ash.
  • Concrete with high early and ultimate strengths.
  • Concrete with enhanced stability and durability.
  • Precast concrete or concrete of quick production.
