POLYHEED® 849
POLYHEED 849 is multicomponent mid-range water-reducing
admixture, free of chlorides, formated to produce:
- Mid-range water reduction (5 to 15%) and an
excellent performance through a wide slump range.

Increases the setting time of concrete along
the recommended dosage range .

Improves workability, pumpability and
finishing quality, even with cementitious materials and/or mixes that contain
fly ash or natural pozzolans.

Development of comparable strengths with water
reducing and retarding admixtures.

Better performance with a wide range of
cements, natural pozzolans, fly ash, aggregates and granulated slag.
POLYHEED 849 meets the requirement of ASTM C494
for water reducing admixtures Type A, retarding admixtures Type B and water
reducing and retarding Type D.

APPLICATIONS
POLYHEED®
849 is recommended for any concrete where extend setting time, workability and
superior finish is required, particularly in warm climates. POLYHEED 849 is
recommended for high volumes of concrete that need extended setting and
workability.
POLYHEED 849 can be used with air entraining
admixtures, as long as the ASTM, AASHTO and CRD specifications are met.
